Stopped counting visited countries when I stopped travel blogging for a while. I didn't think I'd ever go back to writing again, but a question from a neighbor of where have I lived and countries I've been brought me to an abrupt answer... "I've been to 25+ countries before". Few hours later, I remembered that was the last count after I backpacked and traveled by myself. Realizing it has to be in the 30's by now. I sat down and researched a country visited counter and started listing places I've been. Found out, I've been to 40 countries now. Some countries in the end, I have not explored though but who knows, I might one day revisit and explore it.
Ahh... those days of traveling! I have to say, those times while travelling solo never ends up going solo. The best friendships and connections I made was during my solo travels and more than a decade later, we still cherish a meet up or video chats here and there anywhere in the world we can get to. Then, there's the travel blogging community who have been always amazing! Travel community has gone bigger now and was not in the scene for quite sometime nor have energy for that kind of social scene anymore. I may be going on a different travel pace this time, a much slower and quieter ones. Something that will keep me going forward. We will all find out how it goes, so follow along.
